OREGON MIGRATION

What is Oregon Migration? It’s the kick-off event to celebrate new Ducks preparing to take flight to the UO. You’ll meet other Ducks from your area—new, current, and former—who want to get to know you, share some of their best migration tips, ensure you have a strong network of Ducks, and celebrate your accomplishments! This is also a great opportunity to give back to your hometown’s community through a service project that will take place at the event.

Eugene, Portland, San Jose, Seattle, and Walnut Creek: Students and families attending events at these locations will participate in building care packages for houseless youth in those areas as well as participating in a food drive. We invite you to bring either fresh produce or canned foods such as canned fruit, canned vegetables, or peanut butter that will be directly donated to a non-profit organization. Bring a water bottle. We invite you to wear Duck gear and show your school spirit! Food is not provided at these events.

Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego: Students and families attending events at these locations will participate in a beach clean-up as part of the Oregon Migration event. Gloves and supplies will be provided. Closed-toe shoes are required. We invite you to wear Duck gear and show your school spirit! Food is not provided at these events.
